Types of Appraisals

Single Family Appraisal
The Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) is designed for single family homes. Most often it is used for purchases, refinancing of loans and the elimination of PMI insurance.

Multi-Family (2-4) Real Estate Appraisal
This report is used for investment and refinance. It is used for income producing properties consisting of 2 to 4 units.

Condominium Real Estate Appraisal
Similar to the single family form, this real estate apprasial report is used in the valuation of condominiums for mortgage lending.


Drive-By Appraisal
The drive-by report used most often for home equity loans or second mortgages is a limited exterior report in with the real estate appraiser will perform the inspecton curb side.

Desk Review Appraisal
A desk review is a review of completed appraisal's form and content to determine its compliance to USPAP and typical appraisal standards and practices. It is conducted by fully licensed or certified real estate appraisers.

Land Appraisal
Valuation of any acreage of land or building lots.


FHA / HUD Appraisals
FHA/ HUD apprasials are government backed with typically lower rates. The process can be overwhelming. We are trained and knowledgeable with their guidelines and will inform you of any repairs required after the inspection.
